Albedo finally gets a rerun banner in Genshin Impact Version 2.3. Some of his best weapons, artifacts, and team builds have changed since the update.
Albedo finally gets a rerun banner when updating to version 2.3 in Genshin Impact. Albedo was originally released in version 1.2, and Genshin Impact has seen a lot of changes since its initial banner. There have been a lot of changes in its construction. Most new players haven’t had a chance to shoot for Albedo, so players who manage to get it this time around will want to take note of his better build now compared to his original run.
Albedo is a 5 Star Geo Sword user in Genshin Impact who works as an alchemist in Mondstadt for the Knights of Favonius. His kit allows him to function better as a sub-DPS unit which provides the team with an additional elemental DMG bonus and allows Crystallize reactions. Here are the weapons, artifacts, talents, and team builds that best suit him.
Albedo is unique in both its skill functions and artefact requirements in Genshin Impact, which makes it both fun to build and a great addition to many teams. It’s one of the few units whose Elemental Skill provides both utility and damage, and it has the lowest Elemental Skill cooldown in the game at just four seconds.
How to build albedo in Genshin Impact Version 2.3
Here are all of Albedo’s abilities in Genshin Impact, and how they work:
Normal Attack: Favonius Bladework – WeissAlbedo makes up to five quick strikes.
Elementary Skill: Abiogenesis: Solar IsotomeAlbedo creates a Solar Isotoma, an elevator-like platform that rises above the ground, which processes AoE Geo DMG. When enemies are in the Solar Isotoma area, Solar Isotoma spawns transient flowers that inflict AoE Geo DMG based on Albedo’s DEF.
Elemental Explosion: Rite of Offspring: Tectonic TideAlbedo summons Geo Crystals that arise and explode forward, inflicting AoE Geo DMG in front of him. If Albedo uses his Elemental Skill after that, he will distribute additional DMG AoE Geo.
When using Albedo as a Sub-DPS unit, Solar Isotoma should always be in the field, so players should focus on upgrading his elemental skill first. This should be followed by his Elemental Blast, and players may place the least importance on his Normal Attack.
Albedo’s best artifact set is a four-piece Archaic Petra set. This set gives Albedo a 15% Geo DMG bonus and players a 35% DMG bonus for any item that causes a Crystallize reaction. For artifact stats, Albedo must perform an Energy recharge or DEF% hourglass, Geo DMG cut, and DEF%, crit rate, or DMG crit hat. Since Albedo’s damage is dependent on DEF, DEF build is more important than ATK%.
For artifact sub-stats, players should focus on Crit Rating, Crit DMG, and% DEF. This makes farming artifacts for Albedo a lot easier, as most characters don’t need DEF. For this reason, good DEF artifacts can be placed on Albedo instead.
Albedo’s best weapon is purulent desire. This is a four-star sword with an energy recharge passive that increases Elemental Skill DMG and Elemental Skill Crit Rate. Players can also use a Skyward Blade or Dawn Messenger on Albedo if they have no festering desire.
Albedo’s best team lineup has arguably changed the most since its release. Gorou, the Geo Bow user who will be released in Genshin Impact Version 2.3 has an elementary skill that evolves according to the number of Geo users in the group. This means that players with Gorou and Albedo already have a good start in building a strong Geo-based group, with perhaps a non-Geo character to serve as a strong primary DPS and to elicit Crystallize reactions. Otherwise, Albedo can work well with virtually any team that deals damage based on elemental reactions.
While Albedo was somewhat overlooked during his initial banner, players seem to have fallen in love with Dragonspine’s scheming alchemist. Albedo will be an important figure in the Genshin Impact Updated to version 2.3, so players who are interested in him based on his abilities or background should definitely consider shooting for this 5 star character.
